Haley Blair
Homeroom Teacher
Ms. Blair teaches the Kindergarten class at Stratford Middle Years School. She teaches all subjects with a particular love of inquiry-based learning in the kindergarten curriculum. Throughout the year we learn based on the student's interests, and many of our other subjects will weave into this interest. Ms.Blair believes that when students have an interest in a subject, and feel a sense of belonging in the classroom space, they will excel in their learning.
Ms. Blair was born in Guelph, Ontario and has lived in many places throughout Ontario before settling in St.Marys with her husband and dog. She comes from a large family and is the oldest of 6 brothers and 1 sister. Ms. Blair's first ‘students’ were her siblings after converting their childhood playroom into a classroom at a young age.
Ms. Blair has experience in various educational settings including childcare, elementary, high school and ran an outdoor program for school-aged children. Her favourite being kindergarten-grade students. She uses experience learned from all of these settings and ages and applies it to everyday teaching.
